Update 7/12/15: Zap-Map 2.0 Android will be released by mid January. This will have additional features including the ability to update status and add comments on individual points. The app will be free to download and users of Zap-Map v1.0 will be able to upgrade to the new version.

The new Zap-Map App, offers much of the functionality available on Zap-Map.com/live, but in addition offers some specific features and benefits:

* Full screen map, intuitive user interface, fast data retrieval optimised for mobile phone use
* Enhanced filtering capability: filter by any combination of charge type or connector type
* Offline mode: giving ability to view charge point list, and local area map even when no data connection
* EV model filter: select EV model and only view charge points compatible with that model
* No adverts

CORE FEATURES:
– Map showing 3500+ charging locations and 9000+ points across the UK.
– List view, including the charge point’s distance from your current or chosen location. Basic list view also available in off-line mode.
– Charge point information including geo-location, charging power, connector type, network and contact details
– Advanced charge point, connector and EV model filters
– Capacity to ‘favourite’, share and feedback on charge points; relevant updates are then added to the database for benefit of all users.
– Ability to manually refresh data
– Directions to a chosen charge point (via Google Maps).
